Career guidance is very important as it provides students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the workforce and build rewarding careers. However, for TVET to be truly effective, students need access to comprehensive guidance and support as they plan and pursue their careers in the future.

Addressing these challenges requires a concerted effort from the government, private sector, and stakeholders to strengthen the role of TTIs in Kenya’s economic development.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has announced significant progress in the government’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) initiative, which is aimed at boosting employment opportunities for Kenyans.
